Papaya Paradise is a licensed Bed & Breakfast located conveniently between Kailua Beach and Kailua town with restaurants and shopping.
Kailua is on the east coast of Oahu, 23 miles from the Honolulu airport and Waikiki. Kailua Beach is famous for its windsurfing, kite surfing, kayaking, and 2 miles of white sandy beach!

Licensed in 1987 by Bob and Jeanette Martz, it featured a grove of papaya plants in the yard surrounding the pool. Guests enjoyed daily fresh papaya. Despite Bob's best efforts, the papaya ringspot virus that ravished the islands destroyed the crop by the mid-1990s. The plants were gone but the name remained. Bob passed in 2017 and Jeanette has retired but the property is hosted and managed by their grandson, Hogan, and co-managed by their daughter, Jona.
We offer a quiet, private, laid-back atmosphere with only two units. Each unit has a private entry and private bathroom, flat-screen TV, A/C, refrigerator and a ceiling fan.
A kitchenette area equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, utensils, and dishware is available for our guests to prepare light meals. Coffee and tea are provided. Breakfast is not provided.
Beach accessories including towels, chairs, and coolers are available for guest use.
FREE WIFI AND ONSITE PARKING. Saltwater pool. No extra resort fees.
